Geetle has decided that she wants to start learning how to read letters. One of her brother’s specialties is being able to point to letters and read them. He gets positive attention for it. Geetle likes positive attention therefore she is going to learn how to read.

The other day, Mom wrote a pretend grocery list for Geetle. Geetle decided she was going to try out her new reading skills on the grocery list.

The list had a few items like:

  • Bread
  • Milk
  • Apple

Geetle does everything with confidance when she is trying to show that she knows how to do something Pookie can do. She pointed at each letter and read them out loud.

Her list read something like:

  • Giabt
  • Lxtr
  • Tamtw

We’re thinking it will probably be a good idea to send her to school despite her obvious skills. The social skills will be important to learn.
