I think the conversation change is great! One word answers are still answers. Do you ask him open-ended questions? I wonder if you could get more words out of him that way. I have to do that with my sister, because if I ask her yes or no questions, I just get a one word answer back, she doesn't delve further into conversation. The Scramble is On!" Then she pounces him and he llaughs. We need to video one of the "Sister's Slippers" wrestling matches and put it up here. The viewers can't understand how cool it is until they see it. Of course, we will probably get arrested for child abuse, for baiting our children to fight.
