My favorite is the little velcroed fruits and vegetables that you can cut up with a wooden knife..I mean, think of the fine motor skills you are working on!!!! Not much you can do with ye-olde-plastic-talking-Dora. Well, you can irritate the teacher with her so much that she takes her batteries out and hides her in a desk drawer, but really, there isn't any skill involved in that. I hate Dora.
