I am in favor of both abstinence and creationism being taught in education – not exclusively but equally to all of the other methods and theories being taught. I think that is the fair way to handle it.

I actually listen to both left and right wing radio. There really isn’t that much of a difference in their approach unfortunately.

Stop listening to righ-wing talk radio. It will make your head explode. At least that’s what it does to mine. I’d probably be dead right now from listening to Hannity’s show if I didn’t get XM Radio.

I think there is an entire movement for both being pushed aggressively from the same Right wing groups. The thing I don’t understand about abstinence only sex-ed is you’re teaching then how NOT to do something?

The moral values of abstinence are perfectly compatible with home and church teachings, why not leave it there?

I’m guessing because they think they have a chance at getting only abstinence taught in school, but it’s incredibly unlikely they’ll ever be able to get evolution dropped entirely from a curriculum. It’s just a survival thing, I guess.

Trying to find a logical reasoning behind the actions of someone pushing for creationism and abstinence is only going to leave you with a headache…
