DustyShelf, It was so funny watching her try to pull it off and just barely not quite not ruining the joke along the way. She's going to be a nasty April Fooler some day.

Jared, As I'm going through these early Calculus lessons, I'm actually having more trouble with the Algebra/Geometry/Trig portions (where you need to know neat tricks to do substitutions and such) than with the actual "Calculus" part of the information. I should probably make sure I can still do basic multiplication and division someday since I seem to have forgotten the stuff that I learned earliest faster than the stuff I learned last.

Yikes! I finished college in 2000, and so it has only been 9 years since I've been in a Calc class....and I'm sure I would struggle with Algebra II right now. :D Good luck!

The April Fools Day joke was that Barack Obama sent you a letter to say you had won an art contest. We made the letter on PrintShop, making our own fake letterhead. The letter said a limo was coming for you at 6pm and you should wait out front by the mailbox. She really wanted you to wait by the mailbox, and then she was going to laugh at you from inside the house. The second letter was because she and I found your debit card in the laundry that day. She wrote a letter saying she was a boy named Jeremy Jason who found your debit card and was mailing it back to you with an envelope you could use to mail him a reward. She was going to volunteer to mail the envelope for you, on her way to the bus stop the next morning. You were supposed to give her the envelope (with the money in it). Then she was going to take the money, run away and yell "April Fools!". That one was too many steps and she got confused. Didn't go so well.

DustyShelf, I need to put you in charge of my exercise routine. I haven't been held this accountable since...well, since basic training.

I don't remember what the April Fools Day jokes were exactly. How sad is that. I remember walking in the door and getting verbally blasted by her telling me to do 100 things all at once and I remember there was a joke in there somewhere but she delivered it in the way that only an excited 6 year old can. I remember a fake letter stuffed in the mailbox but don't remember what the letter said now. I will say that we still get a gem of an April Fool's joke from Geetle about once every couple of weeks these days.

I'll have to get BAGM to reply with the details of the joke.

I will gladly write a post on my decision to drop out of college and join the military. They were really two different decisions. It is way heavy on the pathetic and whiny and not nearly heavy enough on the desire for intrigue and excitement but that decision is causing heavy repercussions (both good and bad) right now as I start back into college. I'll work on that.

I am behind you 100%. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help make it easier for you. I wouldn't suggest it be taking a test for you though. Love you.

BAGD, I thought sometime back in April you hinted that you might relate why you left the easy life of partying and generally goofing off that is the college experience for most of us for the life of privation working for Uncle Sam. But now I can't find the post. Would you still consider enlightening us at some point?

Also, in the "unfinished business" department, what were Geets's two April Fool's Day pranks this year (http://www.beagoodmom.com/1681/happy-april-fools-day/)? I though BAGM had hinted you might disclose them, but I can't find that post either...
