Kailani, the former host of the Carnival of Family Life, needed to find a new owner for the carnival and I happened to be in the right place at the right time. So, now the Carnival of Family Life is my baby to nurture.
I do not have any plans to change the carnival in any way at this time. Kailani did a great job of building the carnival into a pretty popular one. Hopefully, I can bring a few more regulars into the mix and keep all of the old regulars.
You can still submit your entries using the same Blog Carnival submission page.
It will probably take me a couple of weeks to get organized, and since nobody had volunteered for hosting on December 4th, I will host that edition right here. A couple people had already volunteerd for the two weeks following that. After that, the weekend of Christmas and New Years are open. Anybody interested in some extra homework over the holidays?
There is some bad news about the change in ownership. I don’t have access to fancy candy and coffee from Hawaii that Kailani mailed to the random winner and haven’t really had a chance to think up something similar so for now there will not be any weekly prizes until I figure out how I want to handle that. If anybody has any ideas, let me know. If anybody is interested in sponsoring the prizes for any particular carnival edition or something more open ended, please contact me.
I’m sure I forgot a thousand things I should have mentioned. Please let me know if you have any questions/comments/suggestions/complaints.
