I am not a weather-watcher. The people around me like to chit-chat about the weather, so I usually hear about record highs and expected snow storms from them.

Thursday morning, beagooddad and beagoodmamaw were talking about the 6-12 inches of snow expected on Friday. I began to formulate my plan immediately. You have to have a plan.

I stopped at the grocery store on the way home from the gym and purchased a 2 gallons of milk, 5lb bag of rice, a 32 oz bottle of rubbing alcohol, a Tom and Jerry DVD and 4 bottles of food coloring.

With these things, and my ample supply of assorted craft sundries and household items, I was ready for the big day. If I planned correctly, the kids would have fun and I would not go insane.

I think we ended up with about 8 or 9 inches. Pretty decent but the kids are still able to walk in it reasonably well.
