I was working on potty training Pookie the other day. He snuck in a poop before I could get him to the bathroom.
Geetle is the one that actually noticed and informed me that something stunk.
I walked Pookie to the bathroom, took off his pants and underwear, flushed the poop, and left Pookie to run around pantless for a little while.
About two minutes later, Geetle found me and said that I forgot to wipe the poopy from Pookie. I followed her into the room they were playing in and sure enough. I forgot.
In two minutes, he had managed to get poop on his legs, feet, knees, elbows, hands, face, chest, the carpet and a few toys.
Kids are fast. You’ve always got to be on your toes. The good news is that there was nothing that couldn’t be removed with some soap for the boy and some stain remover for the carpet.
One of the things I find fascinating is Geetle has had a couple times where she accidently got poop on the toilet seat. She was instantly grossed out and wanted it taken care of.
Any idea what age boys start thinking poop is gross? Being wet is starting to bother him, but poop seems to be just fine.
