I am a mother of twins, so I am used to kids tugging on my arm or throwing themselves in my path to get my attention. Pookie has a new tactic. Lately, when he wants me to do something for him, and he is concerned that I will get distracted and not go directly to his task, he puts one hand in each of my back pockets and literally steers me to where I need to go.

I guess he got tired of me saying “I’ll be right there” and then stopping by the kitchen sink to rinse a few dishes before I actually made my way over to him. Its kind of cute. And when I say he steers, I mean it. He pushes, pulls and steers to make sure that I get to where I need to go.
