Where kids should not be allowed to go

A coworker who is getting married this summer told me that kids are not allowed at the wedding or reception.  Knowing him, I understood why he wouldn’t want them there.  It did seem a little odd because every wedding I’ve ever been to had a fair number of kids.  I wanted to have my wedding be a costume party so I don’t judge anything other people want to do during their wedding.

It did get me thinking about places that I do not like to take my kids.  There aren’t many, but I did think of one.  I hate taking the kids shopping when I have to buy clothes for myself.  They do a great job in the changing room but drive me crazy while I am trying to figure out while we are walking around the store.

Do you have any place or activities that you prefer to go to or do without your kids?  Come on, you know you do.

This is my last post until after vacation.  Enjoy the time away from me.  Beagoodmom’s posts are scheduled to start tomorrow and run until we get back from the ship.  My friend, Ben, is going to try to handle moderating the comments while I am gone.  Talk to you all soon.
