Children’s Vitamins- what’s in ‘em?

The kids ran out of vitamins today, so I stopped at Walmart to pick up a bottle of our brand. I was surprised to see the label read “Now with Choline!” I had never heard of Choline so I had to Google it. I learned that it is a nutrient found in eggs and is important for memory functioning.

I tried to look up all the other nutrients on the label, but could not find an article that discussed RDA (Recommended Daily Allowances) for children. I believe that a multi-vitamin is important, but I have to admit that I don’t really know what I am giving them or why. Does anyone have a link to a good article on RDA for children’s vitamins, minerals and nutrients?
