When twins act like twins

Pookie and Geetle learn new skills in very different ways a lot of the time.  Geetle likes to talk about it and complain about it and then end by whining about how hard it is until…”Hey, look.  I did it.”   Pookie pokes and prods it, grabs our hands to get us to show him and then…”Hey, look.  He did it.”

We have been working on a very important life skill recently; seat belts.

They have been practicing and managed to get to where if we pulled the belt out to give them enough slack they could click it into place.

Then suddenly, during the same trip to the car, they both figured out how to do it entirely by themselves which couldn’t have happened at a better time.  In a couple months, BeAGoodMom isn’t going to feel like twisting around to help them fight with the seat belts.

I know they are twins and all, but that’s just a little twin creepy.

The way I figure, once they master doing their own laundry, they will pretty much be ready to move out on their own now.
