Potty Training – You need to have a good book

Pookie is fascinated with the book What To Expect When You Use The Potty. Particularly a line in the book that goes something like “Why don’t poop and pee look like food?”

Except Pookie says it like, “Why not poop and pee look like food?”

Why not indeed.

Did I mention that Pookie has echolalia? Apparently Pookie was wandering around Kohl’s pondering this very question over and over.

All this talk better be some kind of indication that the potty is about to become something more than shopping conversation.

I am so happy to be close to the end of the potty training cycle. I’ve gone thru it with 4 boys. Now I’m trying to keep them from wetting the beds at night or peeing all over the bathroom floor.

Good luck.
