I forgot to mention that the Carnival of Family Life is up over at Play Library. I normally try to mention it on Friday, so I only sort of forgot. Go read the plethora of parenting wisdom, humor and anecdotes including my post. I’m not going to tell you which one I entered. You’ll have to go find it. The first person that leaves me a comment with the correct post title gets a mention in a near future post. Good hunting.
Here’s a few other things that I am reading today that people wrote this week.
Are you stuck in a rut that you can’t escape during the holidays? Over at Babylune they want to know what you do to shake it up over the holidays. We spend most holidays at the grandparents’ houses which pretty much guarantees something a little out of the norm. This year will try taking the kids new bikes if the weather is decent for something new and exciting to do at the grandparents’. Sometimes even the out of the ordinary can fall into its own routine.
Denver Dad has started dating again…his wife. He wants to know your best hot date advice.
MetroDad has conveniently written the letter that we should all print out and hand to our young kids.
Mom – Not Otherwise Specified has a post you just should go read. Seriously, good stuff.
There are some new twins on the internet block. Go read about how they arrived and welcome them to the neighborhood.
We all know that raising kids can be rough on our body some of the time. Did you know they can destroy your toenails, too?
That gets me through about half of the posts in the parenting section of my feedreader. But now it is time to go take the kids out to eat.
I’ve also been tagged to write a couple posts. I know about them and will try to get to them soon.
