Pookie was running around the house with a t-shirt and a pair of socks this morning. BeAGoodMom was trying to round the kids up to our bedroom to watch TV while she showered. I was trying to get to the basement to get back to work. Geetle was trying to get to the bedroom to watch cartoons. Pookie was looking for a fire truck that ended up being in the computer room in the basement.

Pookie found the truck so I told him to head up to our room to watch TV while BeAGoodMom took her shower. He marched right up the basement stairs with his truck and I went back to work.

About twenty minutes later, BeAGoodMom yells down the stairs asking me if I knew where Pookie pooped at. That dragged me away from work for a few minutes. Apparently, Pookie had a wet spot on his t-shirt and was talking about his pee and poop.

We checked everywhere we could think of and didn’t find any poop or wet spots. Mysterious.

With all the talk of poop and pee, though, BeAGoodMom asked him if he wanted to sit on the potty. He sat there for several minutes while we continued to look. Then he quietly got up, lowered the lid, and started to flush. We don’t let him flush if he doesn’t actually go so BeAGoodMom told him no and lifted the lid to see if he might have actually done something.

And half the mystery was solved. We found the poop. So we let him flush and did the M&M dance.

The mystery of the missing pee is still an open case. Let me know if you have any leads.
