We got some great new games

We picked up these games at The Thrift store last week. They are lots of fun and easy for preschoolers to play. We have also been able to adapt them for Pookie’s shorter attention span and his need for reinforcement while playing.

Our Thrift Store sells a plastic bag of assorted games/puzzles for between $2-$7. True, you never know if all the pieces are there, but we have had good luck so far. And we have discovered some real family favorites for only a few bucks. Throw Me a Bone is VERY popular this week. I am not sure if it is the physical activity (throwing the bones at the targets) or the talking dogs (complete with funny accents), but both the kids love it. Best $3.15 we have spent in a while (and the bag came with 2 puzzles too!)

My kids love “Don’t Wake Daddy.” They cackle and scream while playing that one.
