First – Big news. Not quite as big as when I announced Taco Supreme, but pretty cool nonetheless. While I’ve been working overtime and trying to get some projects finished before the new baby arrives, Be A Good Mom has pretty much been carrying this blog. There are now just over 400 posts. She’s written 101 of them.

So, let me be the first to introduce you all to the brand spanking new, Be A Good Mom blog. Go say hello. Go subscribe to the feed. Go tell your friends.

Also – I got an email from str8jacket today letting me know about a recall that most parents are probably going to want to pay attention to. Thomas Trains. Since Thomas Trains have invaded every house in America, you might want to go see which ones are included in the recall. The recall is because some of the trains have too much lead in their paint. Here is the list that shows which trains have the problem and how to tell if you need to take some action.

And – I was in the Carnival of Family Life this week. Go find my post and go read the others. Thanks for hosting, MamaBlogga.

Thanks for passing along the message. I checked our trains over the weekend and we actually came up with 3 offenders. They’ve been sent back to be replaced and I just can’t wait to see what kind of “free gift” we get from a manufacturer that could possibly have poisoned our kids. Hahaha I’m only kidding. I’m just glad they got the word out before anything awful happened.

I’m off to continue being “a very useful engine”! Take care.
