Raising boys in this world is a tough gig, especially when the men themselves are out of touch with their emotions. It's a subject tackled in <a href="http://hamelife.com/raising-cain-protecting-the-emotional-life-of-boys/" rel="nofollow"><em>Raising Cain</em></a> by Dan Kindlon and Michael Thompson. Not to be too down about it, but it's a long a difficult road to turn this trend around. Men have to sort their own issues out before they can raise well-balanced boys themselves. It's not easy. The good news is that there are plenty of Dads around who are "in the know", and want to do something about it. It's a start. These were pretty shocking statistics, Mike.
