What kind of weirdo goes into the grocery store at 9pm on a Tuesday and buys 4 gallons of milk, one package of Oreos and a copy of some Linux magazine. Hey, don’t look at me. You are the oddballs reading that guy’s blog.
I have only put between 5000 and 6000 miles on my car this year. Which is really impressive considering how much driving for my work assignments I was doing between January and April. Probably 90% of the miles were during that time.
Good, easy rolling shopping carts are the single greatest shopping experience improvement a store like Wal-Mart, Meijer, etc. can do…unless some store decided to put the milk, Oreos, and Linux magazines in the same aisle.
There are few things grosser than cleaning a fish tank full of algae right before dinner time.
I like my daughter better with long hair but the fact that she complains when anybody but me brushed the tangles out of her long, wild hair probably had a lot to do with it.
Who gave permission for August to get here already? I guess the best part of it being this late in the year is football season starts next month…I mean, BeAGoodMom’s birthday is next month. That’s the best part of it already being August.

“Good, easy rolling shopping carts are the single greatest shopping experience improvement a store like Wal-Mart, Meijer, etc. can do” – I always get the one with the wobbly wheel or the one that leans to the left so you have to steer it to the right the whole time to make it go straight. I get a migraine just thinking about it.
I really enjoy late night grocery shopping. It’s my “me time” sans kids to stroll up and down the aisle, oblivious to all around, typically listening to podcasts on my iPod.
Wegmans recently replaced half their jumbo cart fleet with these half size, double decker carts. Pretty sweet. Although at first I felt a bit less masculine pushing this teeny thing around. (Sort of like having a walker in front of you.)
I was at a Meijer. They just did a big move everything to different parts of the store over the last several months and bought new carts. While walking through the store I saw somebody using one of those little carts and was pretty jealous that I did not notice those when I walked in.
It is a bold new shopping experience sweeping the country.
