Actually, you have the chance to choose my own adventure by telling me what I should do with the kids on Sunday.
On Saturday, we will be spending several hours walking around the apple orchard about an hour from our house. Between the 3 or 4 hours there and the hour drive each way, the kids will probably be a little bit tired on Sunday.
That’s where you come in.
Every weekend, I try to give BeAGoodMom a couple hours or so alone in the house to rest/nap. Here are the options of things I can do with the kids out of the house on Sunday:
- Go to church
- Wander around mall
- Go to park
- Visit a relative/friend
- Go bowling
- Go swimming
- Stay home and kick BeAGoodMom out of the house
What do you think? I’ll do whichever is in the lead in the sidebar poll when I make my plans Saturday night or Sunday morning. I’ll even try to remember to take my camera with me for some photo ops.
Also, the results of the last poll were a bit dishearting. 6 of you said that BeAGoodMom would not let me chose the name of TacoSupreme while only 3 thought she would (and I was one of those 3).

It is supposed to be 80…get outside while it lasts!
Sounds good to me. Did you vote in the poll on the sidebar?
I’ve never taken mine bowling, that sounds like fun (so I voted for that). I assume they make bowling balls small enough for their age, don’t they? Maybe I’ll try that too…
Heather,
Bowling is a blast. We go to a place with the gutter bumpers and they have special 4 and 5 pound balls that they give the kids. They both LOVE it. Pookie actually almost daily asks us to go bowling and likes to get angry when we drive by the bowling alley without stopping.
Just make sure they understand not to cross the line where the lane starts or they will slip and land on their butt or back.
I’m definitely going to have to try it out then! They just reopened the alley close to us so maybe I can get them out there this weekend. Thanks for the tip!
The activity we enjoy most is jungle trekking. Yep even with my 20 months old. It’s a trek and it’s for kids. Full of fun!
It’s not on the list. However I voted visit a friend.
You could always combine a couple of options: visit a friend and all go swimming/bowling or whatever.
Looks like Papaw and Mamaw are going to alter your course on this one:) See you Sunday.
I vote for taking them to a park.
Actually, I’m taking my brood out Sunday to the zoo to give my wife a break.
