With twins and a new baby, it is critical for us to keep ahead of the laundry pile. I have a quick, super easy parenting tip.

First you need to get a decent washer. We have a couple year old version of the washing machine in the picture. It is an LG TROMM front load washing machine. Ours doesn’t have the steam feature, though.

If we ever get divorced, this might be what we fight over in the settlement.

Anyway, the main thing your washer needs is a delay wash feature. I put a load in almost every night before bed. I set the load to start about a couple hours before we wake up so that it is definitely done and the water heater has recovered before we hit the showers in the morning.

One load of laundry while I sleep. In the morning, I have to put the clothes in the dryer right away and while I’m there I normally start another load as a bonus.

If I could just get something to hang up and fold the clothes I would be all set.
