Geetle was hovering while I was feeding the baby tonight so I put her to work filling in the details of a post. I asked her for 5 things to do with a baby. Without further ado:

5 Things To Do With A Baby

  1. Play peekaboo
  2. Sing “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” while touching the appropriate spot on the baby
  3. Sing “Where is Thumbkin” with appropriate hand signals
  4. Sing “Itsy, Bitsy Spider” again with hand signals

Yes. Number 5 is blank. She only came up with 4 things. Still a pretty great list if you ask me.

I followed up by asking for 5 things that she likes to do when she plays. Here are:

5 Things A Nearly 5 Year Old Likes To Do

  1. Play Who Am I. (One person make animal noises and the other person guesses what the animal is)
  2. Play hide and seek
  3. Read books
  4. Play on the tape race track
  5. Play in her toy kitchen

There you go. Nine things that you can do with kids between 0 and 5.

Mostly burp them, right?

That’s about right. I think I’m getting carpal tunnel with all of the burping.
