I watched The Astronaut Farmer the other day. I’m becoming a bigger Billy Bob Thornton fan everyday.

Anyway, there was one really great line in that movie where Billy Bob’s father-in-law is talking to Billy Bob. The father-in-law is saying that he thinks Billy Bob is one hell of a father and says something along the lines of:

I couldn’t even get my family to the dinner table together. You have your family dreaming together.

Isn’t that cool? Wouldn’t it be great to have a grand family dream that everybody was working to achieve? Something other than making sure the lawn gets mowed and the homework gets done.

I took note of that line too. Great movie. I was afraid it would end with the first failed launch, but the ending was just perfect.

I love this post – so true! A family that sits down to the table together is impressive today, but dreaming together! I love that.
