Getting Them Ready For Vegas

Geetle and I were looking for something to play while Pookie overslept (by 2 hours) and Giggles happily lunged at toys that happened to be sitting between her legs (she’s getting pretty good at picking up the small blocks).

I happened to see a pack of dice sitting unopened on the bookshelf. I have no idea where it even came from. Maybe they are magic dice.

Anyway, I grabbed two of them and asked Geetle to count the dots. No problem.

Then we tried three. No problem.

Then four. No problem.

Then five….are you noticing a trend here.

The game kind of died out (pun intended) since we only had five.

Anyway, we passed a half hour pretty happily counting the dice. She even wanted to start rolling them herself about halfway through. Watch out Vegas. Here we come.

If you have older kids, you could try multiplying the numbers instead of adding.

It looks like I might need to open up my credit card and purchase a pound of dice.

Before you buy a pound of dice…most teachers have a pound of dice and if you know a retired teacher she might have a pound. Love MOM
