Baby On The Move

Geetle Giggles is on the move. So far that just means rolling around so much that she ends up several feet and facing a different direction from where she started. But she also spends a lot of time on her belly reaching for things just out of reach. And you should see how quickly she rolls over these days.
It’s funny to have two completely mobile and independent 5 year olds and to still be caught slightly off guard when the baby starts getting ready to move. I’m not sure if the biggest surprise is realizing that she is moving and we have to keep a tighter eye on her or that kids really do grow up so fast.
Seriously, crawling already. It seems like just yesterday when she was….
Oh yeah, that reminds me. It really was just yesterday that she said, “Da, da, da.”

Happens so fast, doesn’t it? Luke is walking now, and I can’t believe how fast that has progressed. I guess when you are old like me, a year is nothing but to a baby it is an eternity. Enjoy the progression.

whoa you had me confused for a split second there…talking about giggles, but it says geetle! I read the first sentence over a few times at least! Apparently I need to go back to bed - took me too long!

Crap. That’s what happens when you try to write while watching the Bush impeachment thing.
Kris, thanks for noticing that I can’t even tell my kids apart. It is definitely Giggles that is starting to move. Geetle has been moving for years…but somehow rarely manages to get more than a couple feet away from her mom.
