Me and Beagoodmom both had to work at home today and didn’t have a babysitter lined up. So we put the kids in charge of themselves.
They all did a great job. Geetle even made PB&J for herself and Pookie and fed Giggles her lunch.
I managed to snap a few pictures during the day and decided to try uploading them to Flickr.

See. They barely even need us anymore.

I’ve been spending most of the last two days hanging drywall in the basement, so the kids have been pretty much on their own. So far they’ve been reading, playing computer games, building legos, and digging in the yard. Kind of nice that I don’t have to keep an eye on them every minute.
It’s also amazing how much better they are at keeping themselves busy when they know that you are not going to find their next entertainment outlet.
I’ve been busy decluttering and packing, so my kids have been doing pretty well at entertaining themselves. They really enjoy coloring and drawing. We have gone through so much paper lately! The negative to all that is the clean up, especially at dinner time when we need to use the table. Oh well.
