I wish I could do that Rocker Smith. Times have changed quite a bit since back then. Hopefully all of the connections that people can make through early intervention classes for their kids and online will help encourage people to do the right things and get their kids out in the world early and often.

We do not plan on getting discouraged and avoiding going in the future.

Do me a favor: Invent a time machine so that you could go back to the year 1967 and explain this to my parents just before they have my older sister. On top of that, please emphasize to them the importance of helping their kids recognize when they are feeling strong emotions and helping their kids interpret what is going on in their environment that influences those emotions, like you did with the guitar player and overhead speakers.

Thanks for the comment. I understand the needing to catch up on reading, but isn't that what the mark all as read button is for?

Some really excellent advice, that I wish my mum had of known about when my brother and I were little. The loud noise and mass of people were usually too much for him, so we'd rarely go (as it wasn't fair of me to go and not him, of course)

Your ability to see it as a learning experience is brilliant too, if only more people could keep from being discouraged so.

I've missed reading BAGM's and your blogs. I've been 'away' from blogs in general for a while (My feed reader is currently sitting on 5000+ unread posts, yikes!) but I do intend to catch up soon.

Well wishes to you all.
