I bought "Teach Your Child Spanish" from ebay or some other magic place and it has worked well as a Spanish introduction to my 3 1/2 year old. It isn't going to teach the whole language, but has given a little language base for when he starts his lessons in 2 years. It comes with a DVD, a book and the option of a CD for the car. Good times! Now he walks around telling me, "Bueno! Bueno!"

My favorite thing about it is that these cards prove that he sounds words out phonetically. He has no prior knowledge of the word 'vaca" or "gato". But he sounds them out and makes an attempt. He sounding out is clearly based on the English phonetic system, so he is actually reading the cards. Proof positive.
