Elizabeth Dole appears to be having trouble getting herself reelected. So she launched a new ad tying her to the Godless Americans PAC.
I’m really confused about why politics seems to be such a weird game of winning just enough votes by convincing the larger voting blocks that the politician is for them and against those other guys. I really wish politics would somehow become more about wanting to do great things for everyone.
And while we’re at it. I’m getting really annoyed with our politicians use of religion to set the line of good and bad. I’ve known a lot of really bad and really good religious people. I’ve known a lot of really bad and really good atheist people.

I so agree with you on this one. I cannot for the life of me understand why so many people believe that simply going to church makes someone automatically good. Good and bad people go to church. Good and bad people don’t.
